Two of my 3 sessions were very interesting. Particularly helpful when the presenter offered a reading list of tects that he had mentioned in his presentation, so that I can read further on the subjects. The one session that was not as helpful had an interesting subject but we spent most of the time playing a game. Although really fun, I would have liked more meat about the subject of Emotional Intelligence. Love the session on Happiness.
I thought the Staff Professional Development Conference was very well planned and carried out. All of the presenters, and planners did an amazing job, and I am very thankful for the opportunity!
It was a pleasant experience but just needs a few tweeks. The second session I attended was more for an advisor but there was no description leading to that. By far, Trey Denton's session was the best. It was a pleasure as well to hear from Brigadier General Randall Simmons.
What a wonderful event! I was a STEM Volunteer and learned so much. My children had a blast, too! It feels so good as a parent when your kids have fun learning!!!
It was well designed and presented. The material was interesting and very important to help instructors at GSU to understand the valuable resources that are available.
