 hursday\, April 28 at 6 pm. Join Dr. Angélica Castillo Reyna (PhD History
 \, UNC Chapel Hill) for a virtual lecture discussing the origins of Ballet
  Folklórico in Mexico and the U.S. southwest. The lecture will explore th
 e emergence of Ballet Folklórico during an era of post-revolutionary cult
 ural and nationalistic revitalization in mid-20th century Mexico and will 
 trace the emergence and significance of Ballet Folklórico within Mexican-
 American communities starting in the late 1960s. Questions and comments ar
