TRIO VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Girls on the Run

TRIO has a commitment to community service! This entire school year we will be focusing on the public schools. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

Girls on the Run is an ongoing volunteer opportunity that is hosted on the Monday's and Wednesday's (starting February 10th) from 4-5 p.m. This volunteer opportunity allows you to become a running buddy with girls enrolled in this program. Running buddies help promote body positivity, leadership,encouragement during running practices and preparation for 5k races. Volunteers who attend four practices in a month will receive a free t shirt and be able to run in a 5k race for free. More information of GOTR can be found in the link below.

If you would like to be a volunteer in the public schools starting Monday, February 1o, sign up by Monday, January 31, but please don't wait until that day to sign up. After you sign up in myinvolvement
