The interrelationship between Savannah's African American history and the Armstrong Campus
African story-telling is an art form that shares historical narratives in an engaging and enlightening manner. In this workshop African Story-teller, Karen Wortham, skillfully traces the history of Savannah from slavery through the Civil Rights movement and specifically focuses on the intriguing and intricate relationship between the Armstrong campus and the Savannah community. Participants will be educated, and will gain an understanding of the impact Savannah culture has on students and faculty on the Armstrong campus.
