This workshop is designed for participants who have an idea for a nonprofit organization and are wondering what to do next. The workshop will introduce participants to the nonprofit sector, with a focus on considerations of whether to form a nonprofit organization, state and federal regulations concerning nonprofit organizations, and the steps to forming a nonprofit organization, including developing a mission statement, legal incorporation, IRS determination, initial bylaws, and board development and officers.
