Faculty in the Department of Leadership, Technology, and Human Development are hosting a Scratch Day event at Georgia Southern University! 

The event will be housed in the College of Education's Innovation Studio from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 13.

This open-house style event for teachers will focus on sharing and learning about Scratch, an easy to learn computer coding/programming environment developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and popular in schools around the world. Teachers from all different content areas and grade levels have students using Scratch to create stories, games, and animations.  Attendees should expect to be doing hands-on work, not watching presentations.

Attendees are asked to bring their own wi-fi enabled device (e.g. laptop or Chromebook).
