Sabre Esler is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores how our emotions influence our thoughts and how our thoughts influence our emotions, and how the two in tandem influence our experience of reality. Working in materials ranging from paint and canvas to wire mesh and rows of LEDs, and manifest as either individual artworks or immersive installations that range from expressive to formalist, Esler's work always emerges from a core experience of emotionally and thoughtfully engaged selfhood.
