The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for cisgender women, transgender women, gender non-conforming and non-binary folks. Facilitators acknowledge this program centers the traditional lived experiences of participants who were assigned female at birth as well as students who identify as cisgender women. Sexual violence affects people of every gender identity and sexual orientation, this course aims to provide realistic defense techniques and knowledge to make an educated decision about resistance.
