Operation Move-In (Armstrong Campus)

Move-in day is one of the first times new students will experience the spirit and community of Georgia Southern University. Be part of the Georgia Southern spirit of volunteerism and traditions by volunteering for OMI on the Armstrong Campus on Aug. 15

What is Operation Move-In?
This event is a collaborative effort for faculty, staff, student and community volunteers to assist in welcoming our students to the residence halls. Volunteers assist in getting our students back into the residence halls by meeting and greeting families, answering questions, monitoring elevator traffic, unloading cars and many other activities that go into moving about 3,800 students into the residence halls over the course of two days! We would love to have you be a part of this True Blue Tradition.

Volunteers who register will receive a free t-shirt.
