Operation Move-In is the official start to the fall semester at Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro and Savannah campuses. OMI is always an exciting time for Georgia Southern as we welcome students into the residence halls and prepare to kick off the academic year.

2021 Operation Move-In (OMI) will take place on Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7. More information regarding OMI will be sent to students throughout the summer including information regarding signing up for a move-in timeslot, early arrival information and instructions, and information on how to prepare for moving to campus. Please note, students who are part of specialty programs may be asked to move into the residence halls early (see information below).
