On VIew: Nov. 28 - Feb. 24

Reception: Dec. 3, 5:30 - 7 p.m. during the Christmas Holiday Celebration in Downtown Statesboro

Fourteen art students have been tackling themes in their painting studios such as the emotional character of color, comic book illustrations, mental health, and geometric abstraction. The work on display will be a sampling of the bodies of work that they have created during this semester and include a variety of two-dimensional media—oil on canvas, acrylic on panel, watercolor on paper, and mixed media.

The public is invited to join the students for a small reception celebrating their work at the BIG office at 58 Main Street during the Christmas Holiday Celebration on Friday, Dec. 3 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Students with work featured in the show are Jackson Branton, Terrie Daniel, Rachael Dickson, Erin Dixon, Gabriel Drabek, Vanessa Franquez, Spencer Horton, Quinderrious Humphrey, Kaitlyn Roberts, Tyler Lane Ruarks, Charity Stanton, Christian Strickland, Summer Tilley, and Michael Weatherspoon.

Please note, the University's administrative offices, including BIG, are closed from Dec. 25-Jan. 3.
