Nancy Wellington Bookhart "The Lost Scrolls of Poverty: Stockpiles of the Poor

Nancy Wellington Bookhart is an artist, author and educator based in Augusta Georgia. With an MFA from UGA and a PhD in philosophy, Bookhart's interdisciplinary artwork explores issues of poverty, race, and the role(s) of the individual in larger cultural situations. Bookhart's first book, the edited anthology The Aestheticization of History and the Butterfly Effect, was recently published by Vernon Press.
