How can instructors engage in difficult conversations in the classroom? This interactive online workshop with the Diversity and Inclusion Faculty Fellows (DIFF) will introduce attendees to strategies to prepare before, engage in during, and enact after class to manage difficult conversations. DIFF will demonstrate setting community norms, facilitate small group discussions on sample scenarios, and discuss managing these conversations across different instructional formats.
