3-day aquaponics program at the Sustainable Aquaponics Research Center (SA
RC) is designed to provide kids 11-14 with a dynamic\, hands-on introducti
on to aquaponics as a sustainable farming method. Through interactive acti
vities and direct engagement with SARC's facilities and experts\, students
will explore the ecological principles that integrate fish\, plants\, and
microbes into one coherent\, linked system. The program emphasizes scient
ific inquiry\, engineering design\, and environmental stewardship\, aligni
ng with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)\, NOAA's Environmental Li
teracy Program\, and the National Center for Agricultural Literacy Outcome
s.\n\n \n\nThis camp can accommodate up to 20 students and will take place
