The Georgia Southern University Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art will host its annual Juried Undergraduate Exhibition on both the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses Monday, Jan. 27 through Friday, Jan. 31. The Juried Undergraduate Exhibitions will serve as a stage for undergraduate art and graphic design students to display works consisting of any media type.
The Juried Undergraduate Exhibition will be held at the Center for Art & Theatre on the Statesboro campus and at the Fine Arts Gallery on the Armstrong campus.
This year’s exhibition was juried by painter and New York-based gallerist, Andrew Ehrenworth. Ehrenworth has a plethora of experience spanning across numerous art disciplines, and his paintings are featured in both private and public collections. He currently serves as director at the Paul Kasmin Gallery in the New York Chelsea arts district.
The Statesboro Juried Undergraduate Exhibition reception will be held on Thursday, Jan. 24 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Armstrong Juried Undergraduate Exhibition reception will be held on Friday, Jan. 31 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Exhibition awards will be announced and presented at 5:30 p.m. for both receptions.
