Institutionalized Exclusion: Native Americans, Irish Women, and Catholic Restitution
Professor Jonathan Culleton (Chairman of a Post-Prison Social Integration Charity, and Director for the 'Cultural Competence in the Prison' Irish National Training Corrections Officers Programme, Ireland) will host a public talk on the Catholic Church's treatment of Magdalenes Women in Ireland alongside the events at the indigenous peoples march in Washington this past January, and examines the recourse that we might see in the 21st Century.
