In Situ: Hidden Narratives of Statesboro

Reception on Friday, May 10 from 5-7 p.m. 

In Situ is the BA in Studio Art Capstone exhibition that focuses on the lesser-known histories of Statesboro. Each student chose a theme or specific story for their research and made art that was inspired by these hidden narratives. Some of these pieces discuss themes of race, growth, change, poverty, and women in leadership. 

Students with work featured in this exhibition are Caitlin Annunziata, Sierra Cornell, Warren Fleurimond, Casey Gatling, Haille Jones, Jasmine Jones, Libby Mainor, Giselle Martinez, JD McCarthy, Andrew Wiggins, and Kelly Woodard.
