Human Resources is excited to offer a Hiring Manager 101 Training hosted on the Statesboro Campus for on Thursday, June 11, from 9:30AM - 11:00AM in Room 2080 in Russell Union.

This interactive session is open to all employees from any area at Georgia Southern. 

This training is designed to equip hiring managers and search committee members with a comprehensive overview of the hiring process from start to finish and covers these areas:

• Editing and updating Job Descriptions
• Requesting to advertise a position
• Roles and responsibilities of the Hiring Manager and Search Committee
• Ensuring compliance with EEO policy during screening and interviews
• Creating and submitting a Job Offer
• Navigating the pre-employment process
• Final steps in hiring a candidate into the position
