Human Resources is excited to offer a Hiring Manager 101 Training hosted on the Armstrong Campus for on Wednesday, June 17th, from 9:30AM - 11:00AM in the Human Resources Office in Burnett Hall.

 

This interactive session is open to all employees from any area at Georgia Southern. 

 

This training is designed to equip hiring managers and search committee members with a comprehensive overview of the hiring process from start to finish and covers these areas:

  • Editing and updating Job Descriptions
  • Requesting to advertise a position
  • Roles and responsibilities of the Hiring Manager and Search Committee
  • Ensuring compliance with EEO policy during screening and interviews
  • Creating and submitting a Job Offer
  • Navigating the pre-employment process
  • Final steps in hiring a candidate into the position
