DESCRIPTION:CRI offers swim lessons and clinics for Georgia Southern studen
 ts\, faculty\, and staff RAC members. We offer three class options: non-swi
 mmer\, swimmer\, and advanced. All classes are supervised by American Red C
 ross Water Safety Instructors. All classes last 45 minutes. \n\nNon-swimmer
  – for those needing basic swimming skills. You’ll learn to be comfortable 
 in the water\, float on your front and back\, how to transition from a hori
 zontal position to a vertical position\, and basic arm strokes and kicking 
 techniques.\n\nSwimmer – for those comfortable in water where they can touc
 h and would like more help. You’ll learn the freestyle (front crawl)\, back
 stroke\,and breaststroke. Additionally\, you will work on staying afloat in
  water where you can not touch\, breathing techniques\, and diving abilitie
 s.\n\nAdvanced Clinics – for those looking to refine their strokes for a be
 tter workout or a competition. You’ll learn proper swimming techniques in o
 rder to be more efficient in the water. Class will focus on freestyle (fron
 t crawl)\, backstroke\, breaststroke and sidestroke. Butterfly stroke and f
