The GSU Percussion Ensemble will be performing a concert on Wednesday, November 15 at 7:30pm in the Carol A. Carter Recital Hall on the Statesboro campus. The concert is free and open to the public. The Percussion Ensemble performs a variety of musical styles, including select percussion ensemble staples, large ensemble transcriptions, and arrangements of popular music that often include drum set and bass guitar. Selections for the November 15 performance will include: Batik, by James Campbell, Tempus, by Allen Houston, Rondo from Third Suite for Band, by Robert Jager (arranged by Matt Fallin), Conversation 1, by Toshio Mashima, Scherzo, by Stanley Leonard, and The First Circle, by Pat Metheny (arranged by Steve Primatic).
