The Center for Addiction Recovery at Georgia Southern University is hosting a Picnic & Resource Fair, funded by the Georgia Council for Recovery and the Georgia Department for Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, at the Russell Union Rotunda on Thursday, September 18 from 12pm to 3pm. Community organizations with a demonstrated commitment to recovery or recovery allyship will set up informational tables. Grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and refreshments will be available at no cost to students. There will be live acoustic music, and recovery testimonials will be given at the Rotunda. Come enjoy the camaraderie of the recovery community, celebrate public health and student wellness on campus, and learn about recovery resources available to you, your friends, and your family.
