Commercial Music Ensemble focuses on modern performance techniques and musical styles from rock, pop, hip-hop, and more. It gives students the opportunity to explore their favorite genres as well as historically important styles. Current performance tools and techniques are incorporated to help students prepare to function effectively in the world of 21st-century popular music performance.

Contemporary Vocal Ensemble is made up of all undergraduate music majors and non-majors. They sing more popular music in large groups and small groups and are sometimes accompanied by a student-led rhythm section.
