#careerconnectThe CBSS team is hosting Dr. Karla Sapp on January 31 and February 1 as a part of our Career Connect Program that brings professionals in our fields to our campuses, guest speaking in some of our classes, and giving a campus-wide talk at the end of the visit.
Dr. Sapp, a graduate of Georgia Southern University (formerly Armstrong Atlantic State University), is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and Florida and holds numerous national and state certifications. She actively participates in professional counseling associations within these states. She demonstrates extensive expertise in the realm of mental health and addiction counseling, with a particular focus on serving diverse populations, including the adult and criminal offender populations.
We invite you to join us at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 1, on the Statesboro campus for Dr. Sapp's compelling presentation entitled: "Bridging the Divide: Nurturing Mental Health, Fostering Justice, and Empowering Marginalized Rural Communities." The event will occur in room 2029 of the Interdisciplinary Academic Building (IAB).
