Raised in France and China, educated in the USA, and living the past decade in Switzerland and Romania—with a recent trip to Antarctica during an artist residency—interdisciplinary artist Capucine Gros works with themes of borders, identities, culture divides, and language. Working in mediums as diverse as paint, yarn, college, handmade books and more, Gros explores the underlying ideas and themes that alternately bring people together and keep peoples apart.
