At the Intersection: Understanding the impact of multiple social identifies on college student experiences
About this Event
11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31419
This interactive workshop focuses on the intersection of race, gender and class as overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage that is as evident on the college campus as it is in the business world. Participants will gain an understanding that 'one size' doesn't fit all and that specific needs of students at that intersection are varied and need to be taken into consideration for student success.
This workshop will be orchestrated by Khalilah Shabazz, Ph.D., and live streamed to the Statesboro Campus in Cone Hall room 2029.
