About this Event
Adulting 101 is a didactic and discussion-based workshop where life skills are reviewed in accordance to a set schedule. The goal of this group is to provide a safe space for students to explore topics necessary for life that may not always be taught in a classroom. This semester we will review 3 different series over the course of 12 weeks. Each series will be four weeks long and will discuss a new topic for that series per week.
The series discussed this semester include; Finances 101, Professionalism 101, and Life Skills 101. During Finances 101, we will discuss budgeting basics, insurance basics, credit basics, and banking basics. During professionalism we will discuss resume building, interview skills, professionalism in the workplace, and professional communication. In Life Skills 101 we will discuss self-care, laundry basics, house maintenance basics, and study skills.
This free, virtual workshop is open to all students and no registration required!
