Fighting Food Insecurity and Lack of Proper Food Education in America

Food insecurity plagues millions of Americans who are living with either low food security or very low food security. This issue complicates a family’s ability to make wise food choices and lead healthy lifestyles, especially for children. The presenters discuss how the Budget Conscious Eating program (made possible by a faculty grant) assisted college students in overcoming food insecurity and promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors.
