Georgia Southern Eagles and supporters, the Athletic Foundation is excited to announce our first annual 2013 Eagles Fund’s Coaches Tour.

This new program aims to keep Eagles fans and supporters updated and informed on all the many things going on in Georgia Southern’s Athletic Programs while also providing supporters a chance to meet and hear from the exceptional coaching staff of Georgia Southern Athletics.

2012 Southern Conference Coach of the Year and GSU’s football Head Coach Jeff Monken will be a featured speaker. Coach Monken has had tremendous success at Georgia Southern and will be speaking at each tour stop, getting fans and supporters amped up about this upcoming football season. Monken will be joined by other Head Coaches from GSU’s Athletic Department, Athletic Director Tom Kleinlein, and a voice Eagles fans know and love, Chris Blair.

The Athletic Foundation has worked hard to make this tour fun-filled and full of excitement for all Georgia Southern Eagles. The atmosphere will be packed with True Blue spirit as fans enjoy refreshments while getting a chance to participate in a raffle featuring incredible Georgia Southern novelty items.

The Eagle Fund’s Coaches Tour will feature eight stops in surrounding cities, spanning over four consecutive weeks this spring, starting April 25 in Effingham. The last stop on this tour will be held in Statesboro at the Bishop Field House on May 17, 2013. Other areas on the tour include: Savannah, Laurens, Augusta, Macon, Atlanta, and Emanuel. Tickets for the Eagle Fund’s Coaches Tour are on sale now.
