Vered Kater to Speak at JPHCOPH

The Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health (JPHCOPH) presents Vered Kater, RN, BA, MSA, CNS from Hadassah-Hebrew University School of Nursing (retired). She will be speaking about her experiences in international health care in Hendricks Hall on April 19, 2013 from 12:00-1:30 in Room 3001. Vered taught from 1983 to 2011. Vered has led nursing projects in over 10 countries, including projects with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Volunteer for Aid Without Borders, and the American Jewish World Service Volunteer Corps. Vered received nursing degrees from Tel-Aviv University, University College Hospital – London, Hebrew University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Hadassah University Hospital. In 2008, Vered received Hadassah-Hebrew University’s Volunteer Nurse of the Year award. Vered speaks Dutch, Hebrew, English, German, and French. Vered Kater, Senior Nurse Trainer.
