Allen E. Paulson Stadium, Student Side of the Stadium
Lanier Drive, Statesboro, GA

Monday, August 20, 2012 @ 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Started in 2011, this annual event has already become one of the most anticipated events of the year for students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the community.

The part orientation, part pep rally serves as a way to celebrate the end of the first day of class and to instruct Georgia Southern students on traditions, chants, cheers and what it means to be an Eagle. If you are an alumnus or member of the community, come out and join our current students for what is sure to be one of the most memorable events of the year.

The "Voice of the Eagles," Chris Blair, will emcee the event which will include speeches by University President Dr. Brooks Keel, Head Men's Basketball Coach Charlton Young and Head Football Coach Jeff Monken.

Join GUS, The Southern Pride Marching Band, GSU Cheerleaders and Freedom as Georgia Southern students learn the rich history of our storied programs and what it means to be an Eagle on game days in Statesboro.

Come tailgate in the parking lot and show our students how it's done, Eagle Style!

Gates will open at 8 p.m. and the first 1000 students to arrive will receive a True Blue towel and there will also be free food while available. Also 91.9 the Buzz will broadcast live from the event.
