Michael Lasser Lecture: "Jewish Songwriters and the Making of American Song"

Speaker: Michael Lasser, host of the syndicated radio program Fascinatin' Rhythm, and co-author of America's Songs: The Stories Behind the Songs of Broadway, Hollywood, and Tin Pan Alley. The lecture will offer analyses and excerpts of the featured composers' songs, providing a rich historical understanding of their influence and talent. He will "bring to life" the music featured in the traveling exhibit.
