Project Lead the Way – Summer 2017

Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is a national non-profit organization promoting STEM education in K-12 classrooms (www.pltw.org) through teacher training and course module development. Currently, about 8,500 schools across the nation and representing all fifty states have adopted their programs which introduce students to concepts of engineering and other STEM fields. PLTW also has partnerships with higher education institutions in each state. These affiliate schools provide training for the teachers who implement the course materials and modules in their elementary and secondary schools. Georgia Southern is their only affiliate university from the State of Georgia.
