Planning for Success: Backwards Design Your Pathway to Promotion and Tenure

In this session we will discuss planning for research and start creating a research agenda. We will then discuss outcomes-based design as a tool that can aid planning necessary steps toward promotion and tenure and will start drafting a 5-year plan that aligns research, teaching, and service commitments. Aligning these three areas of academic work can help us clarify our priorities and inform decisions about where and when to commit time and energies beyond basic expectations. This session is offered by CT2 in collaboration with Georgia Southern's Office for Research Services and Sponsored Programs (ORSSP).
