Botanic Garden Lunch and Learn: From Haunted to Hip
Calling all time travelers! The Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University will take you to the past, transport you to a present never thought possible, and show you an exciting glimpse of the future during the Garden’s Spring Lunch and Learn programs. Come hear people share their passions in ways that may inspire and energize you.
In this session, Scott Taylor will detail the history and future of that building, the Packinghouse, many people drive past and wonder about often. Learn about one of the most intriguing spaces in Statesboro, and how it one day might become a new hot spot in town.
Programs begin promptly at noon and end at 12:50 p.m., so you can return to work on time. The cost is $20 and includes a delicious locally sourced lunch. Reservations are required, and can be made by visiting www.georgiasouthern.edu/garden/events.
All programs take place at the Botanic Garden, 1505 Bland Avenue in Statesboro. Proceeds support the Garden’s horticultural and educational mission.
